•  $1,000 signing bonus for new or returning landlords entering a Housing Assistance Payment Contract with a new tenant.

• $500 bonus for currently participating landlords entering a Housing Assistance Payment Contract with a new tenant.

• $500 bonus for each subsequent Housing Assistance Payment Contract with a new tenant.

PROGRAM DETAILS

• “Currently participating landlords” is defined as those currently receiving Housing Assistance Payments (HAP), or having received payment in the last 6 months.
• Minimum lease term of 9 months required along with HAP Contract in order to be eligible for the bonus.
• Landlord must sign up for direct deposit of Housing Assistance Payments.
• Bonus must be paid to the same account the Housing Assistance Payments are made.
• HAP Contract for new tenant must begin between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
• $250,000 authorized for incentive program.  Program ends December 31st, 2023 or when funds are expended—whichever comes first.
